It's that time again, time for a grand and glorious Hopping Just for the Fun of it. Today's theme is Halloween / Fall Happenings.

If you've just arrived from My Creative Impressions you are in the right place! But if you started right here, fear not! You can get all the way around the entire hop just by following the links at the bottom of each post.

I have been having a ton of fun with Halloween stuff lately, and the vibrant colors of the Frightful Sight paper. Lookie

The card is a shadow box card, 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", score at 1/2" and 1" from each end. The pumpkin is Pumpkin Pie paper sponged with Cajun Craze punched using the small oval punch. The stamp sets are Haunted Forest, Spooky Bingo Bits, Scaredy Cat. The other projects I used Basic Black, Basic Gray, and Frightful Sight DSP, the stamp set is Spooky Bingo Bits.

Don't forget we love comments if possible. Well, it's time to bid you goodbye and send you on to Krafting with Karen. Enjoy the rest of the hop!

Hi stampers, happy Friday! I am really liking this set and the Spice Cake paper, I think they are my favorites right now. Come on by tomorrow, the "Hopping Just for the Fun of it" group is having their monthly hop and there are sure to be some fantastic projects. See you tomorrow.

Good morning stampers. Here is a fall card I made, isn't it pretty? I colored the markers directly on the stamp, huffed (blew on the ink) before stamping on the paper, then filled in with a blender pen the areas that needed ink. I like this technique although it turns out a bit different each time you stamp.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Happy Friday everyone. It's almost the weekend!! It appears that we will be having some rain and cooler weather starting this afternoon, so I guess perhaps I should clean the house, unless I pass by the stamp room and somehow find myself sitting at my desk with ink on my fingers. Sometimes it is very hard to resist.

Hi Friends, I had a great weekend, how about you?  We had great weather and I so enjoyed working in the garden getting ready for fall.  I also worked on some cards, which I enjoyed as well.

I had a bit of trouble with this card, I just wasn't happy with it.  I tried all kinds of different papers, but decided to just leave it with the two colors.  Not sure if I like it, I do like the scallop circle though.  I ran the die through my Big Shot with Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede, I couldn't decide which one I wanted to use, then I put them together and really liked the look.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

I hope you are enjoying hopping with us, "Hopping Just for the Fun of it".  Today's theme is ALL HOLIDAYS, so I decided a Halloween card was in order.  I used black emboss powder for the haunted house, when it was dry, using a post-it-note and the 1 3/8 punch, I punched along the sticky part of the post-it-note, then put it over the moon and part of the house.  I then used my brayer with Rich Razzelberry ink and applied the ink until I had the desired color.  For the RIP tag, I used black card stock and white emboss powder, really stands out.  I hope you like it.

Please plan on visiting us each month, the next hop will be the first Saturday of the Month.

Card Recipe:  Stamps ~ House of Haunts, Spooky Bingo Bits; Paper ~ Black, Rich Razzelberry, White; Ink ~ VersaMark, Black; Accessories ~ Winter White Emboss Powder, Black Emboss Powder, White Ribbon, White Bakers Twine, Brayer, 1 3/8 Circle Punch

If you started the hop from the beginning you probably came from Nichole's Scrappy Stamps and Ink.  Nichole has fabulous ideas and is very talented, check her blog out!

Don't forget we love comments if possible.  On to our next talented blogger, Mary Jo's Technostamper.  Check out Mary Jo's blog, wow she is so creative and has great ideas, and look what she did for her blog heading using MDS (Stampin' Up's My Digital Studio), wow I love it.

If you should happen to get lost along the way, you can go to the main blog, Hopping Just for the Fun if it.  Thanks for hopping with us.

It's Friday - yea!  I used the Circle Scissors Plus again.  I really like yellow and black together, thought I would try a little color and used Old Olive, I like how it came out.

I am participating in the SU Stamping Blog Hops tomorrow, our theme is holiday.  Grab a cup of coffee or tea and come and join us, guaranteed to have some great projects.

Thursday, September 8, 2011

Hi Friends, happy Thurday.  I have had the Circle Scissors Plus for a while and haven't really spent any time using it, so I thought it was time to put it to use.  Once I realized you need to put a dab of adhesive on the
Glass Mat and put the paper on the adhesive to hold it in place, it worked great.  Those are rhinestones, you can't see the bling in the picture, but in person it is very flashy!  I like how this card turned out, how about you?
